Is there a registration/ membership fee?
No
What happens if I want to cancel the sessions and I’ve already paid the terms fee?
The classes are non-refundable. However, if you wish to transfer your remaining sessions to a friend you can do this by contacting us via info@getup-andgo.co.uk
Can I cancel a session if my child is sick?
Unfortunately, we cannot allow cancellations. Again, if you wish you can transfer the session over to a friend by contacting us via info@getup-andgo.co.uk
How safe are the sessions?
We work really hard to ensure that our sessions are non-contact. They are all about fun and play. We also do full risk assessments of our venues and have public liability insurance. Our class leaders are all qualified in level 2 children’s fitness.
Are the coaches trained?
Yes. They are level 2 qualified in Children’s Fitness, they all have a DBS check and have all attended a paediatric first aid two day course. They have also had full Get Up And Go! In house training.
How long do the sessions last and what do they include?
Classes last for 45 minutes. They all begin with the Get Up And Go! Song. They include a warm-up followed by structured games and end with the ultimate Get Up And Go! Games. We find the perfect balance of familiarity whilst keeping each session new and fresh
Do I need to bring anything else with me?
We recommend bringing a drink for the child participating. It is important that they stay hydrated throughout these sessions.
Do parents have a role in the sessions?
Yes! As much or as little as you like. We actively encourage a certain amount of participation, especially when it comes to supporting the children, but we do like the children to work towards a certain amount of independence in the sessions if they are able.
What should my child wear?
Loose fitting, comfortable clothing. There will be lots of running around in these classes.
Do you take photos during the classes?
Occasionally we do take pictures to use for promotional purposes. You will have selected on your booking form if you are happy or not for these to be used. Parents are only allowed to photograph their own children unless they have obtained consent.
